Ponderoku started round about 1990 when a junior high boy embarked on a story involving an automotive fuse and an artificial Christmas tree.
That story has taken many forms in the years following that Nebraska winter, but all of those forms reflect a realization born out of that story which the boy followed into adulthood:
That things are not the way they should be.
This website is that boy’s continued exploration of that observation and belief through words and images, striving for a world that was and will be again.
